Education Health Care Plan Writer - Remote Position

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated team member who wants to help the children and young people of a local authority to achieve their full potential in education, learning and future employment. You will be able to support the Council to fulfil its statutory duties in relation to children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. This role will support the SEND Statutory Service with writing and amending Education Health Care Plans. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Write plans to a high standard and in accordance with the relevant statute, regulations, and Department for Education (DfE) guidance, including ensuring plans are clear, concise, and accessible. 2. Liaise with other members of the SEND Statutory Team, when required; for example, when further information or clarification is required. 3. Make sure that local authority (LA) procedures are followed, and all relevant data and information is handled appropriately. The information being handled will be confidential and sensitive and must not be disclosed to unauthorised persons. 4.
